Aside from work, I explore photography and visual media as a way to observe, document, and better understand the world around me. I’m particularly interested in projects that sit between design, sustainability, and human experience, where creativity and strategic thinking can shape clear and impactful narratives.

approach

To me, design is a balance between structure and intuition.
Before translating insights into a clear and coherent direction, each project starts with understanding the context.
Beyond the final output, my focus extends to how things are experienced. Whether it is a visual narrative, a digital interface, or a physical product, the goal is to make complexity feel natural and authentic: something that can be understood, explored, and connected to on a human level.
WORKFLOW
Research
Research is the foundation of every decision. It goes beyond collecting references: it’s about identifying patterns, pain-points, gaps, and opportunities. By combining user insights, visual analysis, and contextual understanding, problems are clearly defined before moving into design, ensuring that each solution is grounded in real needs rather than assumptions.

Strategy
Strategy defines direction. Here, insights are translated into clear principles: what needs to be communicated, how it should be positioned, and how it can evolve over time. The focus is on building structured yet flexible systems: defining hierarchies, relationships, and narratives that work across different channels and audiences. This ensures that design decisions are part of a coherent framework, aligned with both immediate goals and long-term impact.

Experimentation
Experimentation is where ideas take shape. Different directions are explored, testing how concepts behave across formats and contexts. This phase is all about challenging assumptions: pushing ideas far enough to understand their potential and limits. It’s a process of iteration, where clarity emerges through testing, feedback and the simple act of doing.

Refinement
Refinement is about precision. Once a direction is defined, the focus shifts to simplifying, aligning, and strengthening each element. Details matter. Not as decoration, but as a way to reinforce clarity and consistency. Regardless of context, the outcome needs to feel cohesive, intentional, and ready to perform across different audiences.

values
01. Curiosity
02. Communication
03. Sustainability
I’ve always been driven by curiosity — about people, places, and ways of living that are different from mine. Living in several countries and exploring different environments made me comfortable with not knowing, and interested in understanding more. In my work, this means asking questions, exploring different directions, and staying open throughout the process, which helps me approach each project without assumptions.
In life, I value clear and honest communication. I believe that understanding each other comes from the ability to truly listen, as well as the freedom to express yourself in a way that is simple, authentic, and respectful. For me, good communication is not about reducing information, but about organising it in a way that makes sense for both the context and the people involved — whether they are users, audiences, or team members.
I’m drawn to slower, more conscious ways of living: spending time in nature, paying attention to the small things, and valuing what lasts over what is temporary. This perspective carries into my work. I try to build solutions that are thoughtful, reusable, and made to work over time, avoiding unnecessary complexity and focusing on what is essential.

BACKGROUND
Growing between cultures
I’ve lived, studied and worked across Italy, the United States, and Germany — experiences that have shaped both my personal and professional outlook. Being exposed to different cultures and ways of thinking has further reinforced my love for diversity and shaped my approach to everyday life situations, which I always try to welcome with openness, curiosity, and a genuine willingness to understand perspectives beyond my own.
This naturally translates into my work, where I aim to design with awareness and sensitivity rather than assumptions, while enabling open collaboration and a shared understanding.
A non-linear path
My educational and professional background combines design, strategy and communication across different contexts and disciplines. This variety has allowed me to develop a flexible mindset: connecting ideas, adapting quickly, and approaching projects from multiple angles by building bridges between concepts, people, and systems.
